At least 30 persons suffered severe and life threatening injury when a gas exploded in Iju Ishaga, a densely populated suburb in Lagos
EkoHotBlog had reported how a LP Gas tanker exploded in Ifako-Ijaiye Local government area of the state.
In an update on the devastating incident, the Lagos state emergency management agency (LASEMA), said the inferno has been put out completely.
The agency also gave a comprehensive lowdown of the havoc wreaked by the conflagration in its post disaster assessment of the incident, noting that of the 30 casualties, 20 are adult male while 10 are adult female.
It also disclosed that 23 buildings and 15 vehicles were destroyed in the inferno.

In a breakdown of properties ravaged by the inferno, LASEMA said, 2 Residential building, 1 Church, 1 Event Centre, 4 Commercial building
1 Market-+ (consisting of 15 shanty shops),
11 Cars, 2 Mini trucks, 1 Bus and one 1 Heavy duty Truck were destroyed.
