Eko Hot Blog reports that in a significant development for the football fraternity in Lagos State, the Executive Board of the Lagos State Football Association (FA) unanimously elected Adedotun Coker as its new Vice-Chairman during a well-attended board meeting held at the FA Secretariat on Thursday.

The election process was conducted by the Electoral Committee Chairman, Alhaji Abdulazeez Tijani, ensuring a transparent and fair process. Following Coker’s election, the FA Chairman, Alhaji Gafar Olawale Liameed, expressed his satisfaction with the appointment, describing Coker as “a very experienced football technocrat.”
“This is a dream come true. I earnestly looked forward to this day and thank God that I now have this great Nigerian and vastly resourceful football administrator as my Vice-Chairman,” Liameed remarked, highlighting the value Coker brings to the leadership team.
Liameed further assured that the new appointment would foster a stronger and more positive relationship among the board members, ultimately benefiting the development of football in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
On his part, Dotun Coker expressed happiness and gratitude for his election as Vice-Chairman, pledging to be loyal to the board and work tirelessly for the advancement of football in Lagos State. “I am honored by this appointment and look forward to contributing my experience and expertise to further develop football in our state,” Coker stated.
