The Lagos State Fire Service has averted another fire disaster as Lagos firefighters prevented the explosion of a 45,000 litres tanker leaking PMS along LASU-Igando road, Ojo.
The Ag. Head of Lagos State Fire Service, Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, who disclosed this Friday, explained that the Lagos State Fire Service received an emergency call early on Friday, warning of impending danger due to fuel leakage from a tanker on a major road in Ojo.

She explained that the danger was averted as Firefighters accompanied the tanker to its final destination.
Mrs. Adeseye also revealed that officers of the Fire Service played a prominent role in ensuring that the inferno at Airport Hotel was limited to the car park, where four vehicles parked were completely destroyed.
While urging members of the public to disregard the viral video that suggested the Lagos Airport Hotel was engulfed in flames, Adeseye said the incident only affected the building of Tour Africa Transport Company within the premises.
