Eko Hot Blog reports that, in a poignant display of solidarity and remembrance, the Lagos State First Lady, Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, delivered a heartfelt tribute to the Anomo family.
The governor’s wife spoke on Sunday during the solemn Fidau prayer ceremony for Ruqayyah Sijuwade Anomo, the wife of Hon. Wale Anomo, the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman.
Expressing profound condolences, she extended gratitude to Hon. Anomo for his unwavering support of his late wife during her arduous journey.
In her address, Mrs. Sanwo-Olu spoke eloquently of Mrs. Anomo’s remarkable resilience in the face of adversity, highlighting her indomitable spirit and unwavering determination.
“Mrs. Anomo’s strength in the face of challenges was truly remarkable,” she remarked. “Despite her health struggles, she radiated positivity, always wearing a smile that touched the hearts of those around her.”
Further reflecting on Mrs. Anomo’s character, the Lagos First Lady praised her commitment to excellence in all endeavours.
“Mrs. Anomo was a paragon of perfection, striving for the highest standards in everything she undertook,” she remarked. “Her dedication and attention to detail were truly admirable, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.”
In concluding her tribute, the Lagos First Lady offered words of solace and encouragement to the grieving Anomo family.
“Let us draw strength from Mrs. Anomo’s enduring legacy,” she urged. “May her resilience, kindness, and unwavering optimism continue to inspire us all.”
As the Fidau prayer ceremony came to a close, attendees were left with a sense of reverence and gratitude for the life and legacy of Mrs. Ruqayyah Sijuwade Anomo, whose spirit will forever be cherished and remembered.
