Eko Hot Blog reports that the wife of the State Governor, stated this at the thanksgiving service organised for pilgrims of the 2022 pilgrimage to the Holy Land, held at the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja on Thursday, advising pilgrims to reflect on lessons learned during the exercise in their daily lives and be role models to others.
The First Lady noted that the pilgrimage exercise would have impacted the pilgrims positively and brought about spiritual rejuvenation and transformation in them, hence the need to consciously exhibit good character and be worthy ambassadors of Jesus Christ.
Her words: “Now that you are back, you are encouraged to let the lessons learned to reflect in your relationship with God and also with people you come in contact with daily”.
Dr. Sanwo-Olu commended the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) for conducting a hitch-free pilgrimage journey to Israel and Jordan.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Ministry of Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Elegushi noted that the spiritual exercise to the holy land has reflected positively on the Jerusalem pilgrims, urging them to tread on the right path and keep the commandments of God.
Speaking on the theme: “Peculiar-People” from 1 Peter chapter 2 vs 9, the Presiding Pastor of Livingspring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, charged the Jerusalem pilgrims to trust God to bring about better days in whatever they were passing through.
