Lukman Ajayi, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, shared this information during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday.
Ajayi specified that the offenders were apprehended at locations including Oshodi, Dopemu, Ikeja, Ikorodu Road, Ketu, and Ojota. He emphasized that such arrests would persist until adherence to safety regulations aimed at preserving lives is observed.

The LAGESC spokesperson wondered why some persons, including parents, would take children to cross a 10-lane-expressway where there were pedestrian bridges.
Ajayi called on the residents, particularly parents, to advise their wards against crossing the expressways.
He said the agency was committed to saving lives by enforcing laws in that regard.
The state government in February described the crossing of major highways in the state by pedestrians as an offence adding that any defaulter caught would be prosecuted.
