EKO HOT BLOG reports that a kind-hearted man, Ekuma Jeremiah, has received donations of over N300,000 as of Saturday afternoon, with many applauding his generosity despite his status.

Jeremiah was filmed giving money to occupants of a Nigerian Correctional Service bus in Ajah area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria,

Speaking in an interview with Punch, Jeremiah said he gifted the token because he was concerned for the inmates.

He stressed that he had no ulterior motive for his action, as he only considered himself to be in a better place than they were and wished to help them.

He added: “I have suffered. So if I see people suffering, I always feel for them.”
