Lagos Honours 15 Retired Permanent Secretaries
The Lagos State Government has honored 15 former permanent secretaries after they retired having attained the statutory 35 years in the state civil service. Lagos State Government has permanently retained the 35 years statutory civil servants.
The Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said it was a thing of pride to be celebrated for any accomplishment in life let alone when the occasion was the celebration of unblemished public service careers.

“I am proud to put on record that you all have been found worthy to be honored and celebrated today in recognition of your exemplary service and record of outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the state public service. Indeed in felicitating with you, I wish to express my profound appreciation and gratitude for your loyalty, commitment, dedication, and priceless service rendered through the years,” he said.
Eko Hot Blog learned that he urged the retirees to deploy their skills, knowledge, and administrative and management expertise garnered over the years in adding value to their communities and the state.
The former permanent secretaries include Dr. Lawal Temitayo, Mrs. Ayinde Olubusola, Mr. Fashola Adeyemi, Mrs. Umar Shukrat, Mrs. Ogunmola Modinat, Mr. Osi-Efa Abiodun, Mr. Taiwo Olufemi, and Mr. Olusanya Abayomi.
Others are Mrs. Faseun Owolola, Mrs. Awoseyi Idowu, Dr. Allison Olalekan, Mrs. Raji Abidemi, Mrs. Falugba Olamide, Dr. Balogun Bolajoko, and Mr. Adeniji Olufemi.
