Lagos Hospitals Receive Free Medical Equipment from ECI, SAGA Foundation

Eko Club International and the Shola Agboola Goodwill Ambassador Foundation (SAGA) have donated two 40-foot truckloads of medical equipment to hospitals across Lagos State on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

The medical equipment was donated at the new palace of the Osolo of Isolo, Lagos, and included wheelchairs, stretchers, crutches, beds, bed stands, and more.
Eko Club International, in collaboration with the SAGA Foundation, demonstrated their commitment to supporting the Lagos community by providing hospitals with essential medical supplies in response to the needs of Lagosians.
Members of Eko Club International gathered in Lagos State with their President, Honorable Saheed Olusi, to deliver the medical supplies and formally present them to the hospitals.
Eko Club International fulfilled its 2024 medical mission by visiting communities across Lagos. Ayobo, Egbeda, Lagos Island, Ipakodo, and Ejirin benefitted from the exercise.

The ceremonial handover event, which took place on Saturday, was attended by several dignitaries, including Honorable Saheed Olusi, President of Eko Club International; Ambassador Shola Agboola, President and Founder of SAGA Foundation; High Chief Saliu Wasiu Alani Arowo-oye, the Adele-Oba; His Royal Majesty Oba Babatunde Akanbi Ogunrohunbi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ganiyu Aderibigbe Asunmo, Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu.
Others were Oba of Shasha Kingdom; High Chief Wasiu Saka, the Olorogun of Isolo; High Chief Tajudeen Olaonipekun, Oluwo of Isolo; Prince Ayo Abiodun Lawal, Agba-Akin Arowo-oye; Muslim Community Isolo; Eko Club International Vice President, Hon. Olajide Damola; Honorable Kayode Opeifa, Vice President Emeritus, Eko Club International; Mrs. Sarah Balogun, representing Mrs. Kemi Ogunyemi, Senior Special Adviser to the Lagos State Government on Health; and Hon. Bashiru Agoro, President of Eko Club Houston, among many other prominent members.
