Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Ijebu Traditional Rulers have congratulated the member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Rep. Wale Raji, on his recent reelection.
The lawmaker’s office made the disclosure in a statement on Friday.
According to the office, the Ijebu traditional rulers’ congratulatory message was contained in a letter jointly signed by the group’s Chairman, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Shotobi (Ayangburen of Ikorodu), Vice-Chairman, His Royal Majesty Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun and Secretary, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Kasali.
The monarchs stated that Raji’s victory is an affirmation of the continued satisfaction of the people of Epe Federal Constituency in his service to them.
“The people have reelected you for an unprecedented third time because they appreciate and value your service to them,” they said.
The Ijebu traditional rulers, therefore, charged the federal lawmaker to reward the people’s faith in him by continuing to serve the unreached parts of Epe Federal Constituency and alleviating the suffering of the people.
