Lagos Islanders started their Premier League campaign on a good note against CAMAC of Lagos in the Atlantic Conference.
The game which was close for the better part of the encounter was won by a more experienced Islanders team masterminded by its former captain, Ayodele Oluwaseyi and with the likes of Hillary Aighokhoade, Ibrahim Okpe amongst other experienced stars.
The Islanders won with a deserved 59-52pts.
In the other games played, Ondo Raiders with fans support narrowly beat Coal City of Enugu 69-68pts.

Invaders of Ekiti avenged last season’s 1 point defeat at the hands of Raptors with Ojo Olusegun’s tutored side winning 64-59pts.
The last match of the day was between Kwara Falcons and Police Baton which ended 55-47pts in favour of the Falcons.

Games in the Savannah Conference were delayed following a broken fiber glass attached to the rim inside the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
