How Sanwo-Olu, Gbajabiamila, Others Mourned Death Of Lagos Lawmaker
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila is among the dignitaries present at the burial of the late lawmaker.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale (alias Omititi) representing Mushin Constituency 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, who died on Tuesday has been laid to rest in Lagos.

Hon. Olawale who was the Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Community Relations at the House was laid to rest on Wednesday following his death in Plateau. He was reported to have slumped after the campaign flag-off of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) ahead of the 2023 general election.
The second-term lawmaker’s death has been described as shocking and unexpected.
Sanwo-Olu while sending his condolence message described the late lawmaker as a committed democrat.
In his words: “My condolence goes to the family of late Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale who represented Mushin Constituency II at the House of Assembly. He was a committed lawmaker and democrat, who served his constituents until his demise. I pray that Almighty Allah grants his soul eternal rest.”
Also, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila expressed shock over the death of Hon. Olawale. He condoles with the family and the entire people of Lagos while appraising the lawmaker’s service to the state.
“Shocked to learn about Hon. Abdulsobur Olawale’s unexpected death. He rendered excellent service to Lagos State in a number of positions, and his untimely passing has created a void. My condolences to his family, his Mushin constituency, the people, and the government of Lagos state. May God grant him eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Earlier, the members of the Lagos House of Assembly through the Chairman, Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Hon. (Engr) Setonji David, had described the late Hon. Olawale as a committed lawmaker.
Also, Lagos State Speaker, Rt. Hon (Dr) Mudashiru Obasa also expressed his pain over what he described as a grievous loss to the state.
