A Lagos Lawmaker slumped and died after attending an APC campaign flag-off in Jos.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the member representing Mushin constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sobur Olayiwola Olawale, popularly known as Omititi, has died.

The 60-year old reportedly died in Jos, Plateau State, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, after attending the campaign flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

As of the time of filing this report, details of his death were sketchy, but Daily Trust quoted a source as saying the deceased slumped at the rally and died moments later.

Another source told the newspaper that Olawale slumped at the airport and efforts made to resuscitate him failed.
