Lagos Loses Chairman Of Agbado/Oke-odo Local Council

The Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo local council development area (LCDA), Dr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade has passed away.

Chairperson, Lagos State Conference of Local Government and Local Council development Area Chairmen (Conference 57, Lagos State), Mrs. Omolola Essien, announced Arogundade’s death in a statement on Tuesday.

According to Essien, Arogundade died on Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness.

She prayed to God forgive his transgressions and grant him passage to Paradise.

She further implored members of the public especially residents of the LCDA to remember his family in their prayers during this trying period.

Meanwhile, the Chairman, Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi has condoled with Agbado Oke-odo LCDA over the sudden demise of the council chair.

He described the late Arogundade as a gentleman with kind heart.

Arogundade’s demise is coming few days after the the Secretary to the Local Government, Alhaja Tawakalitu Abiodun Ayilara, was pronounced dead.
