Lagos Marks World Sight Day

The Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Health in commemoration of 2019 World Sight Day embarked on a Blindness Prevention Campaign titled ‘Walk For Sight’.

World Sight Day (WSD) is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October, to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment

The campaign was aimed at educating the public on how to take care of the eyes, what they need to eat to maintain a good eyesight and also precautions to be taken when they have eyes problem.
