Dr Idris Salako, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, has reiterated that Lagos State is open to collaboration for the proper planning and development of the State.
Salako disclosed this during a courtesy call on the Ministry by France – based Non-Governmental Organization, the Urbanistes Sans Frontieres (USF) also known as Urban Planned Without Borders.
He affirmed that Lagos State was addressing the expansion and improvement of road facilities, which are being explored to further ease doing business in the State.
The Commissioner stated that to enhance planning, the Lagos State Planning and Environmental Monitoring Authority (LASPEMA) is being repositioned to capture the informal sector for proper planning.
He restated Government’s determination to achieve orderly, livable and sustainable, physical environment through Local and International collaboration.
