Lagos Pays Another N1.8b Into Retirement Savings Accounts

Lagos State Government has again paid the sum of N1.8Billion into the Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) of 418 Retirees from the mainstream Civil Service, Local Governments, State Universal Basic Education and Teaching Service Commission for the month of March, 2020.

The Director-General, Lagos State Pension Commission, Mrs. Folashade Onanuga said the mode of distributing the Bond Certificates for March 2020 is different from the norm, in view of the order by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to limit large gatherings.

According to her, all Bond Certificates have been released to the Pension Fund Administrators who will invite beneficiaries in their tens for the exit meeting and grant access to their RSA for computation of their lump sum and monthly pension.

She also released phone numbers and e-mail addresses for all retirees and contributors in the Lagos State Public Service to channel any inquiry on pension matters during this period.
