Lagos Police Officer Dies In Kara Bridge Accident
A Lagos State police officer tragically lost his life in a road accident at Kara Bridge in the Berger area of Lagos.
The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident to the media, detailing that it occurred early in the day.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to Oke-Osanyintolu, the fatal accident involved multiple vehicles, including a goods-laden Volvo truck, a Toyota HiAce bus, and a Mercedes bus.
While the circumstances leading to the collision remain under investigation, the incident has heightened concerns over road safety in the area.
Authorities have since responded to the scene, and LASEMA officials are working to clear the site and prevent further traffic disruptions.
Meanwhile, Police operatives in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have apprehended three individuals for allegedly impersonating forcemen, including police and the Department of State Services (DSS).
The individuals were also accused of involving in a ‘one chance’ robbery in the nation’s capital city.
Giving details of the force operations in Abuja recently, the FCT Police Commissioner, Olatunji Disu, disclosed that the three suspects, along with nine others, were recently detained for their involvement in ‘one chance’ incidents across various locations in the FCT.
