The Lagos State Government has postponed the 2021 entrance examination/screening test into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools in the state, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
The examination, which was earlier scheduled to hold from June 28 to July 3, 2021, has been moved to July 15 – 19, 2021.
The latest development was disclosed via a statement by the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, on Saturday.
Gbadegesin reminded parents and guardians of registered candidates that the examination would be conducted through the Computer-Based Testing method (CBT) only.

The Examinations Board Director further urged the parents to ensure that their wards are well acquainted with computer usage.
Gbadegesin implored all prospective candidates to take cognisance of the new dates and revisit the Lagos State Examinations Board Portal (examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng) from July 1, 2021, to print out their examination slips for the details of the entrance examination.
He equally enjoined parents and the students to adhere strictly to the laid down guidelines and safety protocols of COVID-19 during the conduct of the examination.
