Eko Hot Blog reports that in a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery, the Lagos State Government, under Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has presented official vehicles to 30 heads of ministerial agencies in the state.
The Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, represented Governor Sanwo-Olu during the presentation ceremony and highlighted the administration’s commitment to excellence through this initiative.
“The occasion marks a significant milestone in the present administration’s commitment to excellence and efficiency,” Agoro stated. He affirmed that the vehicles would not only serve operational needs but would also enhance efficiency, adding, “The vehicles shall meet their specific needs.”
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Director-General of the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI), Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa, conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional gesture by Governor Sanwo-Olu.
“The vehicles we have received would be of great benefits in ways we could never have imagined,” Anjous-Ademuyiwa said. “This remarkable gesture will undoubtedly have a profound positive impact on our official duties and daily lives.”
She further stated, “Your belief in us and your willingness to go above and beyond have truly touched our hearts. We feel humbled and honoured to be the recipients of such exceptional gifts.”
The presentation of official vehicles to the heads of ministerial agencies is part of the Sanwo-Olu administration’s efforts to equip state agencies with the necessary resources to enhance their operations and service delivery to the people of Lagos State.
By addressing the transportation needs of agency heads, the state government aims to foster a more efficient and effective public service, ensuring that critical operations are carried out seamlessly and that the needs of the citizens are met promptly.
