Lagos State Government has announced that all Public and Private Schools in the State should resume on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
This is for the Third Term of the Y2020/2021 academic session.

The State’s Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, in a release, enjoined all school managers to enforce strict compliance with all subsisting protocols to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Seriki-Ayeni also urged them to ensure that all students and staff are protected.
She stated that OEQA evaluators will be visiting schools across the five divisions to monitor resumption activities and to ensure compliance with the State unified academic calendar date.
The OEQA DG also directed Students in boarding schools to resume on Monday, May 3, 2021.
Seriki-Ayeni advised school heads to comply with the resumption dates.
