The Lagos State College of Health Technology, Yaba has enrolled over 400 students into the institution during the 20th edition of its matriculation exercise held at the College premises.
The State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, in his address to the students during the matriculation ceremony, urged them to support the State government in its quest to achieve efficient healthcare delivery.

Abayomi, represented by the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Ministry of Health, Dr. Sherifat Owokoniran, admonished them to uphold the standard of producing middle-level manpower that would continue to advance the health sector.
In his speech at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Tokunbo Wahab, charged the newly admitted students to embrace diligence, hard work and be focused in their studies.
Wahab, represented by the Director, Standards, and Accreditation in his Office, Mr. Segun Idowu, assured the freshmen of the provision of the exposure to necessary materials needed to excel in their pursuit of academic excellence.
