Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has appointed Mrs Teju Abisoye as the Acting Executive Secretary of Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) with effect from April 1, 2019.
Mrs Bosede Alimi, the Director, Strategy, Funding and Stakeholder Management in LSETF, said this on Wednesday in Lagos.
Alimi said Abisoye’s appointment was, however, subject to confirmation by the Lagos State House of Assembly.
According to Alimi, Abisoye was Director of Programme and Coordination in LSETF prior to her new appointment.
Alimi said Abisoye, in her new role, would be responsible for the delivery of targeted programmes designed to facilitate access to finance and financial inclusion for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The statement quoted the Chairman of the LSETF, Mrs Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru, as saying that she was pleased to have Abisoye assume the role of the executive secretary at the fund.
According to Omoigui-Okauru, Abisoye has superior understanding of the vision, core values and strategies of the LSETF because she has been at the forefront of coordinating the delivery of the fund’s programmes.
