Lagos State Gives Kudos To Naija FM; Students On Radio Lesson Delivery System

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo has given kudos to Naija FM for its consistent delivery of the radio lesson programme targeted at the Junior Secondary School Students in the State. She added that the response has been a welcoming one.

The commissioner who reacted to the good response of the students to the great idea said the radio teaching programme is an initiative of the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Education in partnership with Naija FM 102.7 and South Saharan Social Development Organisation.

She added that the radio lesson which started on Monday, 6th of April, 2020 was to cover 4 subjects; English Studies, Mathematics, Basic Science and Civic Education, adding that it would be running from 12 noon to 1 pm daily.

Adefisayo disclosed that the Ministry has achieved its aim of the radio teaching programme which was to keep the students engaged while at home during the lockdown period. She added that Parents and Guardians should keep on guiding their children and wards to always tune in to Naija FM 102.7 and make the best use of the quality teachings and educative programme.
