Lagos State Government Embraces Cultural Exchange: British High Commissioner Visits John Randle Centre
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Barr. ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, extended a warm welcome to the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, CMG, during his private visit to the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu received the Commissioner through the Secretary to the State Government, emphasizing the significance of cultural exchange.
Commending the Lagos State Government for its commitment to preserving and showcasing the rich Yoruba heritage, Montgomery expressed his appreciation for the establishment of the John Randle Centre.
The Commissioner particularly lauded the incorporation of technology to narrate the compelling story of the Yoruba people, enhancing the overall museum experience.
The event witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Centre, Mr. Olufemi Akinsanya.
Accompanying the British High Commissioner were Ms. Rosa Vera-Cruz and Mr. Jide Damazio, further solidifying the cultural ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
This visit reflects the collaborative efforts between Lagos State and the British High Commission to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
