Lagos State Holds Diaspora Stakeholders Meeting In Atlanta
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government is set to host a significant diaspora stakeholders meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, on March 7th, 2024.
This event, the first of its kind in the USA diaspora, aims to coordinate various entities, including individuals, cities, foreign representatives, businesses, and partnerships of diverse intellectual and professional capacities, to foster the goals of the Lagos State Government.

The meeting, titled “Lagos State Diaspora Stakeholders Meeting,” will take place at the Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Building 900, L106, 1630 Metropolitan Pkwy, Atlanta, Georgia 30310, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The keynote speaker for the event is Rep. Carl Gilliard, the Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus. Other notable attendees include Rep. Segun Adeyina, ESV Jermaine Sanwo-Olu, Head of the Lagos State Office of Diaspora Affairs (LASDA), and Hon. Deji Ajiboye.
The gathering will be hosted by the Blessings Alumni Group and the Eko Club Atlanta, with Hon. Khairat Animashuan Ajiboye and Dr. Tayo Ogunyemi serving as the contact persons for RSVP.
The primary objective of this meeting is to bring together the Lagos State diaspora community, fostering coordination and collaboration among various stakeholders. By leveraging the diverse intellectual and professional capacities of attendees, the Lagos State Government aims to further its goals and strengthen its ties with the diaspora community.
