Lagos State Government has announced the release of the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results.
In an official statement, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, informed all Public and Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools in the state that the results for the 2024 BECE are now available.
The statement advised school authorities to access the Board’s Portal at examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng using their designated or existing Usernames and Passwords from student registration to download and print their schools’ results starting Monday, September 23, 2024.

Mr. Orunsolu emphasized that this online access allows schools to retrieve their results directly, reducing the hassle of physically visiting the Board’s office to collect them.
He also mentioned that this approach would help eliminate delays typically experienced in obtaining the results on time.
Furthermore, Mr. Orunsolu noted that the date for the BECE Resit Examination for students who did not pass English Studies or Mathematics, or both, will be communicated to the affected schools soon.
He expressed his appreciation to all stakeholders for their cooperation and for contributing to the successful implementation of the Board’s new policy.
