In his remarks, WAPA Commissioner Hon. Bolaji Dada said the empowerment initiative’s objective is to encourage women to start their own businesses by giving them the tools and knowledge they need to succeed financially.
“This training marks the beginning of new opportunities and pathways toward a brighter future for the beneficiaries,” the Commissioner stated, accompanied by Mrs. Olufunke Shyllon, Director of the Women’s Department.
Furthermore, Hon. Dada recognized the numerous obstacles that women encounter in the workplace, such as restricted access to resources, social expectations, and chances that could impede their advancement.
According to her, “The abilities and information you have gained are priceless resources that have the potential to change your financial situation.”
Recall that studying is only one aspect of it; another is putting what you’ve learned into practice in ways that can result in long-term growth and money-generating.
“You are trailblazers, shattering the bonds of poverty and creating the foundation for the success of upcoming generations of women.” She added.
