Speaking at the campaign launch, the president of AWAM, Mr. David Oriyomi, thanked the governor for his unalloyed support.
He noted that the current administration has enhanced the waste management system in Lagos with the incorporation of over 400 PSP operators who provide effective waste service delivery to Lagosians.
According to Oriyomi, the campaign by AWAM members for Sanwo-Olu’s reelection was being replicated across all zones in the state.
“We in AWAM have 100% support for the Sanwo-Olu’s administration, he stood by us and we will always stand by him,” the AWAM boss said.
Delivering remarks, LAWMA’s Executive Director of Finance, Mr. Kunle Adebiyi, said the present administration has a huge scorecard in waste management, being one of the largest employers of labour in the state, urging Lagosians to show total support.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief Technical Officer of LAWMA, Dr. Olorunwa Tijani, and other AWAM executives.
