Lagos Water Supply Boosted As Water Corporation Begins Test-run Of Rehabilitated Waterworks

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) has begun the test-run of the Iju and Adiyan Waterworks after the completion of the rehabilitation embarked upon by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration.

A statement signed by the corporation’s Managing Director, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus, on Wednesday said the move was part of the Lagos State Government’s effort to improve the provision of public water supply in the state.

Badmus explained further that as a result of the rehabilitation, some areas are likely to experience leakages due to an increase in water pressure, while all areas will enjoy adequate water supply.

He also revealed that the Corporation has launched dedicated phone numbers: 0704-597-3012 and 0704-597-3013 through which residents can reach the Corporation for enquiries, complaints and suggestions. While also assuring residents of improved and sustained service delivery.
