Lalong Swears In New Head Of Service, 14 Permanent Secretaries

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has sworn in Engr. Sunday Chong Hyat as the new head of the State Civil Service and 14 new Permanent Secretaries.

Lalong urged them not to politicize the state civil service.

In his remarks, Governor Lalong claimed that their appointments were made solely on merit in order to fill existing vacancies in the state Civil Service caused by the retirement of the Head of Service, Mr. Izam Azi, mni, and some Permanent Secretaries.
