Lamine Yamal Makes History As 2024 Golden Boy Winner
Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal has been crowned the 2024 Golden Boy, capping off an extraordinary breakout year with both Barcelona and the Spanish national team.
At just 17 years old, Yamal becomes the youngest-ever recipient of the prestigious award, joining an elite group of Barcelona stars who have claimed the honour, including teammates Pedri and Gavi, in three of the last four years.

Yamal edged out stiff competition from emerging talents like Joao Neves, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, and Warren Zaire-Emery to secure the coveted prize.
This accolade follows his historic triumph at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in October, where he became the youngest player ever to win the Kopa Trophy, recognizing the best under-21 player in men’s football.
