Landlord Stabs Tenant To Death For Abusing His Thirteen Years Old Sister

A landlord identified as Julius Antony Obialor is on the run for allegedly killing a twenty-four -year old tenant identified as Meshach Atsen who he said was abusing his thirteen- year old younger sister, when he entered the victim’s room to discuss the payment of his rent arrears.

The police on Sunday 5th April 2020 said to have interrogated the landlord’s brother, John Obialor alleged that the victim’s brother gave a different report.

“Meshach lived as a tenant in our house and my brother found him sleeping with our thirteen- year old sister when he went to his apartment to collect his rent arrears on Friday. When my brother saw this, he raised an alarm.”

He added, “My brother was so pissed off. On Sunday, my brother asked him to pay off his arrears and vacate the room and that was when the fight between the two started.”

John said that some of the tenants had joined hands with his brother and beat up the victim before locking him up in his room, adding that his brother mistakenly had lightly cut the victim with I knife when they were fighting and when the tenants got worried and went to his room in the evening, he was found dead.

The tenants who alleged that Julius was responsible for the death of the victim razed down the house.

“This house was left for us by our parents when they died. We do not have anywhere to live now” said John.
