LASEMA Releases Situation Report On Friday Fire Outbreak At Ajegunle

  • The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, (LASEMA), has released a situation report on the fire outbreak that occurred at a section of the Ajegunle market on Friday night.

LASEMA revealed that the fire was combated by firefighters from LRU and Federal Fire Services.

“Upon arrival at the scene, some shops that gutted with fire at the plank section of the market were encountered.

“The cause of the fire remains unknown. It was combated head-on by firefighters from LRU and Federal Fire Services.

“Concerted efforts to extinguish the fire came to bear when the Fire was been completely put out with the combined efforts of the LASEMA Response team and LRU fire.

Post-disaster assessment to be conducted later,” LASEMA added.
