LASG Announces Public School Transfers
The Lagos State Government has rolled out new transfer opportunities for students.
This initiative caters to those with genuine needs, such as relocation or financial constraints, and is open to students from both public and private schools.
In a notice issued by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Abayomi Abolaji, the transfers are exclusively available for those advancing to JSS II and SS I in public secondary schools.

He emphasized that the transfer window opened on Thursday, August 8th, and will close on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
Parents eager to take advantage of this opportunity must submit a written application to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
The application should specify the student’s preferred school, gender, age, and state of origin, along with passport photographs, birth certificates, and 2nd and 3rd term results from previous classes.
