Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has emphasized the importance of integrative medicine in the state’s healthcare system.
Speaking at the Association of Integrative Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria’s annual conference, Sanwo-Olu highlighted the significance of this approach in enhancing the nation’s well-being and driving economic development.
Represented by Prince Babatunde Adele, Registrar of the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board, Sanwo-Olu noted that integrative medicine offers a holistic approach to health, combining conventional and alternative practices to improve individual lives and reduce the economic burden of illness.
The governor praised initiatives promoting awareness and training in integrative medicine, encouraging the establishment of clinics and research centres.
