LASG Prepares GIPP Beneficiaries for Internship
Lagos State Government has kicked off the Graduate Internship Placement Programme (GIPP), a paid internship initiative aimed at equipping post-NYSC graduates with essential skills to kickstart their careers.
The programme, organized by the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, commenced with a three-week Pre-Internship Training at the LCCI Training Centre, Ikeja, and other centers across the state.
Commissioner Akinyemi Ajigbotafe emphasized the comprehensive nature of the training, which includes instructor-led sessions, virtual learning, and self-paced e-learning.
Participants will receive stipends for the duration of the training to motivate and enhance their performance.

Ajigbotafe urged participants to maximize this opportunity, highlighting Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to tackling unemployment in Lagos State.
The programme is being held simultaneously in various centers across the five divisions of the state, ensuring accessibility for all selected graduates.
This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, empowering young professionals to succeed in the modern workplace.
