The Executive secretary, Health facility monitoring and accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA), Dr. Abiola Idowu, has said that the agency is ready to introduce a Health Facility Inspection Tool called ‘HealthFIT’
Dr Idowu stated this on Friday at a training programme arranged by the agency in conjunction with PharmaAccess foundation , that the health facility inspection tool is to ensure and enhance efficiency, inspection and to put In order, health facilities in Lagos state. She said that the android-based mobile application is designed to ensure effective inspection of health facilities in the state and noted that the usage of the mobile app will commence immediately after the training and will run for two consecutive weeks.
The representative of PharmaAccess, Dr. Anireh Asuma, said that e-HEFAMAA is an electronic registration and renewal formation that helps serve more than one purpose of a website for finding information about the programmes and activities of HEFAMAA and can be used to send openings, submission, renewal band registration applications and also register health facilities in Lagos.
“Commitment to the use of this E-application will ensure staff productivity as well as improve the quality of its services to the public ” she added.
