LASG Seeks Support Of Boundary Communities For 4th Mainland Bridge
The Lagos State Government has called on residents of boundary communities in Ogun State who might be impacted by the construction of the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge to bear with the inconvenience it may bring.
The affected communities include Arepo, OPIC, Mawere, Isheri and Sparklight Estate.
In a statement issued on Monday, the state government said the bridge could land around the Sparklight Estate near Arepo after running through several corridors.

Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Aramide Adeyoye, during a meeting with the stakeholders, stated that the government was committed to cushioning the effect of the construction.
According to her, the environmental impact assessment and stakeholders’ feedback were important for the government to make the right decisions on the construction of the proposed 38-kilometre bridge.
“The meeting here is to ensure all hands are on deck to make this infrastructure a success,” the statement quoted her as saying.
