These stakeholders and interested parties may be customers, directors, staff, suppliers, shareholders and even whole communities and even the civil services as an area of conservation.

“There is increasing and greater worldwide focus on good governance, with organisations being forced to become more transparent regarding their operating practices and governance. This extends to public focus as individuals become more interested and connected to the ethics of organisations from which they purchase goods and services. This in addition to increased media focus, increasing legislation and stiffer penalties for poor performance means that organisations must seek to govern appropriately and acknowledging all stakeholders and interested parties” he stated.
While encouraging participants to leverage on the knowledge the forum will offer, he said all civil services must stand up and be counted for contribution to the development of public service in Lagos State.
Mrs K.A Ajenifuja, the Permanent Secretary Parastatals Monitoring Office also contributed by affirming that the objective of the seminar is to encourage Heads of Administration and Human Resources because it is important to make public servants adhere to the set of ethical behaviours and improve efficient service delivery.
