LASG Supports 150 More Residents with Financial Assistance

Lagos State Government has presented cheques to 150 additional beneficiaries of the Sanwo-Olu Cares Social Intervention program in a bid to alleviate the financial burdens of vulnerable residents.

This initiative, spearheaded by the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, aims to provide economic empowerment and support to those in need.

Dr. Tajudeen Afolabi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, emphasized the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of residents, particularly during these challenging times.

“Every eligible and vulnerable citizen has a right to receive the support they need to overcome financial challenges and contribute to the State’s economic growth,” he said.

Mrs. Esther Akinbamire, one of the recipients, praised the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Civic Engagement, Hon. Ruth Lijrin, for her prompt assistance.

Dignitaries present at the event included the Permanent Secretary, Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Ms. Sholabomi Shasore, and other senior officials.

The Sanwo-Olu Cares Social Intervention programme continues to make a positive impact on the lives of Lagos residents, demonstrating the government’s dedication to their well-being.
