LASG Supports Mother Of Quadruplets, Donates Money

The Lagos State Government (LASG) has granted monetary donation to parents on the affair of quadruple childbirth. LASG says it is a way of showing that the government does not just care about themselves only but also cares about the well-being of the citizens.

In a statement by The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr Segun Dawodu, he stated that maternity care all over the world is a charity saving life in childbirth and community maternal health insurance and services should not be left void. He gestured that it is what the government should do from time to time because most people cannot afford healthcare on their own and by that, it gives more incessant challenges to citizens which can eventually lead to death.

He continued by adding that the outlines of a delivery vehicle should be required and created by the government in order to reduce death amongst women. “Those that give birth to more that one child should be given heartfelt attentions because lack of attention and healthcare will eventually take on toll on their lives” he stated.

He also implores the parents of the quadruplets to continue taking care of the children, adding that they receive the best of care and further necessary assistance.

Eko Hot Blog gathered that Ibeh Maureen Anayo, the mother of a set of the quadruplets said that the government never left her side and offered her assistance from the 6th of August, 2020 when the babies were born at the Federal Medical Centre Ebute -Metta.

She expressed her profound gratitude to the Lagos State government. ” I couldn’t bear the pain and stress of taking care of my children alone but all thanks to the Lagos State Government for showing me that they care about citizens” she concluded.
