LASG Trains 5,000 Residents in Vocational Skills

Lagos State Government has successfully empowered over 5,000 individuals in various vocational skills, including ICT, Digital Marketing, Fashion Design, Videography, Catering, Mixology, and more.

This achievement was highlighted by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu during the graduation ceremony of the 4th batch and induction of the 5th batch of participants of Project Loud, a flagship training and empowerment program of the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment.

Represented by Mrs. Olayinka Oye-Bamgbose, Director of Partnership Department, the Governor emphasized the importance of equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s economy.

The “Project Loud” initiative aims to transform lives through education, technology, and entrepreneurship, recognizing the need to empower youth with 21st-century tools.

Notably, over 2,000 women and girls have benefited from these programs, including young individuals trained in coding and digital literacy through boot camps.

The Governor encouraged all participants to maximize the opportunities provided and contribute positively to the economy by applying their newfound skills.

This milestone demonstrates the Lagos State Government’s commitment to vocational training and empowerment, paving the way for a more skilled and prosperous workforce.

As the state continues to invest in its human capital, the impact of programs like Project Loud will undoubtedly contribute to the state’s economic growth and development.
