In continuation of its determination to train & improve driving techniques of all categories of drivers, especially those in the commercial sector, Lagos State Drivers’ Institute has conducted on-site training for members of the NURTW Opebi/Onigbongbo Branch.
In her address, the Acting GM, Mrs. Afusat Tiamiyu, said the training exercise is expected to improve drivers’ skills & educate them on traffic rules & regulations and also educate them on the proper use of the highways.

She reminded participants to consider other road users at all times, take proper care of their vehicles, and also ensure being in the right frame of mind before embarking on any journey.
Tiamiyu reiterated that the on-site training was organised to improve the attitude of commercial drivers, stressing that the annual exercise is compulsory for the drivers to receive a Certificate of Competency.
