LASG Urges Prompt Land Use Charge Payment To Avert Enforcement
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government has issued an appeal to all residents, urging them to promptly pay their Land Use Charges to prevent enforcement measures.

This call comes as part of the state’s efforts to ensure compliance with the Land Use Charge Bill.
During a strategic interactive session with stakeholders on Land Use Charges in Lagos State, the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Abayomi Oluyomi, emphasized the importance of viewing Land Use Charges as a priority, compulsory, and mandatory for all residents.
He highlighted that compliance is crucial to fully implement Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s THEME Plus Agenda for the benefit of the citizenry.
Mr. Oluyomi emphasized the convenience of various payment channels listed on the back of the bill.
Additionally, residents can utilize designated communication lines for inquiries or to address any complaints related to Land Use Charges.
While encouraging residents to take advantage of the early payment discount offered by the Governor, Mr. Oluyomi stated, “defaulters may face severe penalties for non-compliance.”
The appeal aims to foster a sense of responsibility among Lagosians in contributing to the development goals outlined by the state government.
