Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, General Manager of the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA), has called for unified action against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
She emphasized the need for everyone to support the government by swiftly reporting abuse cases to the appropriate authorities.
Speaking at a symposium organized by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) in partnership with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA).

Mrs. Oyetunde-Lawal urged private organizations to collaborate with state agencies to combat this pressing issue.
She highlighted the critical importance of safeguarding human rights and ensuring protection for all, especially those with disabilities.
The event was intended to assess a decade of efforts aimed at addressing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Lagos, according to the organizers.
