LASRRA Retreat Promotes Sustainable Success Through Continuous Learning and Adaptability

In a proactive effort to promote sustainability, resilience, and future readiness, the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) recently hosted a successful one-day retreat focused on preparing the agency for 2025 and beyond.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the event, themed “Sustainability and Future-Proofing: Preparing LASRRA for 2025 and Beyond,” took place at Academy Inn and Multipurpose Hall in Ikeja, and brought together enrolment officers from across the state’s five divisions for an enriching experience centered on reflection, learning, and growth.

LASRRA General Manager Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, in her opening remarks, expressed the retreat’s goal of instilling a renewed sense of purpose among participants and fostering a workforce capable of delivering exceptional services to the Lagos State Government

She said: “I urge you all to focus on professional development, strategic planning and workforce optimization to ensure LASRRA is well positioned to meet the demands of 2025 and beyond”.

Throughout the retreat, participants were presented with a range of engaging lectures that emphasized the significance of continuous learning, adaptability, and innovation in achieving sustainable success.

LASRRA staff members were encouraged to embrace new ideas and methodologies while remaining grounded in the agency’s core values.

Notable topics covered during the event included Time Management, Igniting Purpose, Driving Impact, Motivating a Future-ready Workforce for Sustainable Success, and Professionalism as a Cornerstone: Building a Resilient and Sustainable LASRRA Workforce.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of different categories of awards to individuals, such as Outstanding Dedication, Most Diligent, Team Player of the Year, etc. to individuals.

The two best-performing divisions for the year were won by the Ikeja and Badagry divisions, while the Station Managers of Agege Maternity, Igando-Ikotun and Ajeromi-Ifelodun won at the subunit levels.
