Eko Hot Blog reports that the Executive Secretary of LASTVEB, Ms. Moronke Azeez observed that the Y2022 theme: “Growing a Healthy Future”, calls for a deeper focus on healthy eating habits as a panacea for the sustainability of our existence.
She said: “Having Lagos Culinary Academy as the venue of this year’s international event bears eloquent testimony to the fact that Lagos Culinary Academy of the Government Technical College Ikeja, is of International standard with modern and fully fitted workstations, theoretical training space, and a food presentation area to harness the opportunities that abound in the hospitality industry”.
Azeez applauded Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over his passion for Technical and Vocational Education in Lagos State, adding that the great investment of the State Government makes it possible for many to utilise the centre for creative purposes.
Emphasising that the Academy was created for qualitative training with the best equipment, the Executive Secretary also appreciated Nestlé Professionals for being the major partner/sponsor of the event, noting that the celebration is the beginning of a long-lasting partnership with Nestlé Nigeria Plc towards the development of culinary vocation.
In her speech, Mrs. Funmi Osineye, Business Manager of Nestle Nigeria Plc, restated Nestle’s commitment to partnering with LASTVEB to further develop the Lagos Culinary Academy
