LASU Epe Campus Prohibits Use of Military Route
Ekohotblog reports that the Lagos State University (LASU) Epe Campus has announced that staff and community members are no longer permitted to use the military route to access the campus.
In a memo dated November 6, 2024, the Deputy Registrar of the Epe Campus reminded everyone that violations of this directive would result in disciplinary action.
The memo explained that the campus management had previously issued multiple warnings against using the military route as a shortcut, yet some individuals continued to disregard these directives. Due to these repeated infractions, the management has now decided to implement stricter enforcement.
“The military area is now off-limits as a route to the campus. We have previously issued multiple warnings to staff and community members,” the memo stated.
The Deputy Registrar further emphasized that adherence to the new rule is mandatory, adding, “Anyone found breaking this rule will face the consequences.”
The memo, signed on behalf of the Head of Campus, urged the campus community to comply with the order to avoid any complications.
A staff member, speaking anonymously, commented, “The restriction makes sense, but I hope the management will provide safer and more accessible routes for staff and students.”
