Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) has announced its commitments to rebuild and develop Adeniji-Adele Housing Estate on Lagos Island.
The General Manager, LASURA, Ms. Ajibike Shomade, stated this during the reception of executive members of the estate landlords association, when the executives visited the agency. Shomade said that the agency is planning to join hands with private developers to carry out the project in order to ensure swift development and locomotive of residents of the estate.
She explained that the agency plans to reconstruct and design the buildings in five storeys and as result, will include the maintenance of the building. She also disclosed that the drainage system and other infrastructural buildings would be reconstructed and upgraded to complement diversification of the project.

Shomade further noted that the agency would not relent in its effort to ensure that the project becomes a successful one and promised to ensure that the modern facilities is properly managed and be effective.
The chairman of the association, Elder Femi Adeotan expressed his profound gratitude to the General Manager that hosted the walk of change and promised to render all necessary support to the agency for a successful completion of the project.
